Biography
I am a 30 year old short story writer and poet (unpublished). My prose is influenced mostly by John Fante and Hemingway. Also Sherwood Anderson (I too am from small-town Ohio). My poetry is influenced mostly by Bukowski and the Beats, but also Whitman, Lorca, Neruda, Mayakovsky, Rimbaud (of course) and Hart Crane (another Ohio boy).
