Sparkling apples,
The forbidden fruit
To look at them
Would invoke change
A flowing river,
Gleaming yellow in the sunlight
How I long to break its surface
To run my fingers through it
A cracked well
Deep, but overflowing
Brimming with mirth
I can't help buy smile
An elegant mountain range
Slender and sleek
Stretching as far as the eye can see
I worship at the feet of those mountains.
A secluded vale
Hidden amongst it all
To deny its existence
Would be to break it
Someday I'll relish change
As I swim through your river
Draw mirth from your well
And our mountains will cross
As we open our vales to each other.
