The Sky was dressed in black, and night was breathing calmly .Stillness was the sound of air. Souls had departed from the habitants of the earth. In the mist of this deep darkness, an old window was pushed open by two feeblish hands; a pale face felt the humid air of July. In that moment, that lonely spirit wanted to absorb all the serenity that surrounded her. With her grievous eyes the little girl searched the heavens, not sure what she was looking for, maybe, she thought, today she could see some sign from God. Maybe He will talk to her today in some way! She had heard it from her mother that, God had His own way of talking, she certainly believed it; she gazed into the vastness of the skies, but all that her eyes could see were mountainous clouds sailing smoothly. Disappointed, yet with some hope in heart she made a prayer.
Her prayer was much more of a complain to God. Wailing she said that, Happiness has set off for a journey to distant lands and it has been so long since it has made its way back to her heart. Suddenly she felt a knock on the door of her heart and she was fully aware who it was? It was God talking to her!
"You don't seem to like the cloudy sky today?" God said
"I know well, they hinder your sight, from twinkling stars,
But ,these clouds have to travel to faraway lands.
The reason for this is that, I have destined it for Happiness to be shared among my creation, sometimes it makes it way to one land and then it sets off for long journeys to others.
So just wait and don't be impatient "

"Its raining! " she shouted excitedly . Throwing her cover away, even her illness she did not stop her. She run with all her strength towards the terrace, where there was no barrier between her and rain .She forwarded her little palms ,feeling the drops of rain not only on her skin but also in her heart . Rain water rushed into her heart , where a new life was circulating inside her .She was sure about it, even it had been absent for long yet she recognized it so well ,with the first beat ,her heart took it was Happiness !
