where goes the light?
from whence comes the dark
enveloping, sometimes kind sometimes sinister
soothing, moderator of pain
all
escape fleeing the trials of the day
a time to ponder time to die
leveller, adjudicator judge and jury
call
and in that darkness truth and revelation
self -revelation honest and true
only fools conceal, scoundrels lie
and jesters know it all
